Bond games: Licence to be killed?

Dr Game,
Are there any good Bond games? Is Quantum of Solace going to be any good?

Steve, talk to anyone who has played games and they will tell you that Goldeneye is not only the best Bond game but one of the best FPS games of all time.
Unfortunately it's hard to come by and even though there's a rumour every month that it's coming to Xbox Live Arcade or Virtual Arcade, the fact remains you'll have to get a N64 or N64 emulator to really enjoy this gem.
The other Bond games don't really match the quality of Goldeneye. The closest is probably From Russia With Love which saw Sean Connery's Bond take on OCTOPUS aka SPECTRE from the film. It's decent third-person shooter but not a great entry to the franchise.
Another worth checking out is Everything or Nothing starring Pierce Brosnan. It had an original story with an original cast including Willem Dafoe and Shannon Elizabeth. It was more of a third-person shooter but included all the action sequences you would expect from a Bond film.
As for Quantum of Solace, it looks great. I know. I can't believe I'm writing that either. Treyarch, who has botched all the Spider-Man games, has used the Call of Duty 4 engine to create a great FPS that swaps to third-person when performing actions and taking cover. Similar to the cover system in Rainbow Six. Not a lot of the story is known but what I do know is that it will feature sequences from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. Early reviews suggest it's a decent game but I'll either wait for a demo or pick up the game next year when our sales are on.
