I did not see this coming.
Before you think that comment is saturated in sarcasm - I have to stop you and say I am completely serious. I did not see this coming. I thought it would be at least another year before we saw a new Fallout game.
I read this morning on my Twitter that FourTwoZero from Infinity Ward ran into a guy from Bethesda and told him they had just announced a new Fallout game titled New Vegas. I didn't buy it to be honest - I thought he was joking.
Then on Joystiq I saw the announcement and I thought - that's cool!
It's only an announcement at this stage so all we know is that it's going to be an RPG, that it's being developed by Obsidian Entertainment who was founded by some of the guys who developed the original Fallout and it is NOT a sequel.
Keep your eyes peeled for info on this one.
