Dr Game's PSA - GTA Lost & Damned this week

That's right - the exclusive DLC that Microsoft spent all this money on finally arrives this week for 1600 MS Points and a big chunk of your HD space. Will it be worth it? Find out this week.
I don't know how many of you finished GTA IV but I did and I must admit I was a little disappointed with the game. A lot of the missions seemed pulled from previous GTA games and I absolutely hated the missions that forced me to use a bike to chase down somebody so I could put a few rounds in to them.
So I'm kind of hesitant about The Lost and Damned as it's based on a bikie gang - so I'm guessing I'll be sitting on a hog for most of this mission pack.
According to Rockstar this is not simply a mission pack. They wanted to creat a whole new experience that will run parallel to Niko's story - you'll even run into the Russian on your trails. There'll be more TV shows, more radio announcements, more tunes, more mini-activities and a new way to play the game. Being part of the gang it will be rare when you head off on a mission on your lonesome. Apparently when you begin a mission you'll have some comrades riding alongside you to help out. Knowing Rockstar I'm sure the AI will be up to the task as I rarely had a ally die on me in the original game.
But the biggest improvement according to Rockstar is that the biking will be more forgiving - so it should put to rest my biggest fear of riding like a madman only to get sideswiped by a sedan and end up on someone's windscreen cursing that I have to start the mission all over again.
You don't have to have completed the GTA IV story to play Lost & Damned. There will be a menu option allowing you to switch between the games and it doesn't spoil the ending either. So GTA fans, biker fans and anyone looking for a good time should definitely check out The Lost & Damned this week.
