Dr Game's PSA - Mad World released this week

March 11th 2009 22:49

I'm just going to say it - I think Mad World will be the Wii's game of the year. If it's not Mad World, then it's definitely House of the Dead: Overkill. Either way Sega will be happy.

Mad World is beautiful... for a game that is black and white with pools of red. It's a mature game which is exactly what the people who bought a Wii on release day have wanted for so long.

You play as Jack who is a mechanic that finds himself in a violent television show... and we mean violent. You will stab sign posts through opponents heads, grind torsos against running trains and cut them in half using garbage bins.

The game looks like Frank Miller's Sin City novels and is unlike anything you've seen in a videogame before.

Reviews are starting to come out and it's all been positive. The bottom line is this looks like a fun game and sure, Resident Evil 5 is out, but in between chapters you can still find time to play darts with bodies.

This has been a Dr Game Public Service Announcement, because Dr Game cares about what you play.
