Dr Game's PSA - The PSP is back for 09

Whoa!
I open up Joystiq this morning and there is a bunch of PSP news. Firstly Resistance: Retribution is GOLD so you should see it on shelves very soon.
But some big announcements for new games were also made:
Motorstorm is coming to the PSP which is pretty cool as the PSP needs some more racing games. It will be different to other racers as it will be set in the snow. Arctic Edge downsizes all the trills, spills and Sunday chills but looks like it will as exciting as the PS3 versions... but we're yet to see gameplay footage.
LittleBigPlanet is also coming and will have it's own world with the ability to share and play other people's levels. We don't know much more than that but it's definitely something that should bring in the masses... especially the ladies who love Sackboy.
Assassin's Creed was also announced as coming to the PSP. I'm not sure how the DS version of Assassin's Creed went but I would expect a completely different game to the DS. I would hazard to guess that it will fill in the gaps between the first Assassin's Creed and the sequel that's on its way.
Finally, Rock Band, yes Rock Band is coming to the PSP and it sounds like Harmonix's classic Amplitude. You will swap between instruments connecting the notes to some of the most popular tunes around. You'll also get access to a Rock Band store via WiFi!. Sweet huh?
So the PSP is building steam. For me, it's definitely got a lot more exciting content to what the DS has announced so far. But either way your hands are going to be very busy this year.
