That's right - after the US enjoying movies on demand for over a year, Australia is finally going to get their hands on the service later this year.
This will be the first console in Australia to offer such a service - Microsoft currently offers Netflix to US Live subscribers but it's not available for Australians. Tivo is the only box that offers movie on demands in Australia unless you're a Foxtel or Austar subscriber.
So this is great news and could be a boost for PS3 sales in Australia - as long as Sony advertise it properly.
Next month Sony Australia will release music videos for free! You can download these to the Music icon on your XMB. There is supposed to be up to 20,000 videos available next month. Advertising will appear every now and then but this should be cool for parties or other social activities.
