Dr Game,

Is there any truth to the rumour that Resident Evil 0 will be remade for the Wii?

I've had this email sitting in my inbox for a while and I've been waiting for confirmation and today is the day.

Not only is Resident Evil 0 going to be remade for the Wii, but so is the original fright-fest Resident Evil 1. Everyone seemed to love the Resident Evil 4 controls for the Wii but it will be interesting to see how the original games go because they featured pre-rendered graphics as opposed to the fixed third-person camera.


Probably even better news is the confirmation of Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles - which is a sequel to the light-gun shooter Umbrella Chronicles. This story will follow Leon Kennedy's story from the beginning of Resident Evil 2. Umbrella Chronicles was a great game for the Wii and hopefully Capcom can build on the foundations of what made this game great to play.

With Resident Evil 5 out today there is going to be plenty of evil for the world to conquer!
