For those about to rock...

Dr Game,
I don't know what game to get, Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero: World Tour. What do you suggest?
- Torrent
Well it depends what you want out of your game Torrent.
The track lists in both are solid so you're spoiled for choice with both. If you can afford it I would suggest you pick up the Guitar Hero instruments and the Rock Band game. All the peripherals will work with both games so you don't lose. But if you can only afford one then it depends on what you're playing it for.
If you're looking for a something to play when you've got buddies around then Rock Band might be the way to go. The new No Fail mode means you don't have to have any talent in order to make it to the final drum beat. Noobs and Veterans can unite and rock out to over 80 tunes.
But if you're dead serious about your musical escapades then I would suggest Guitar Hero. The ability to record songs with your friends allows you to play with your creative juices and belt out a track all on your own. You can then upload your song and you never know, Diddy might be calling you to come in and lay down a track.
