Are any of the Greatest Hits PS3 titles good or are they cheap for a reason?

A few of the titles are cheap for a reason but there are some great titles in the budget range you should definitely consider.
The top of the list is Metal Gear Solid 4. It's one of the best games I've personally ever played. It's a masterpiece and has one of the greatest stories ever told. You can not go wrong with this game.
Another spectactular game for other reasons is Ratchet and Clank Tool of Destruction. Not only will kids dig this but adults will be charmed by the colourful levels and clever plattorming sections.
Adventure fans will get a hoot out of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. It's as close to a good Indianna Jones game as you'll get. It's got a great story and plenty of fun gunfights.
Assassin's Creed is another one that's worth checking out. Some people might find it a little slow, but for the price it's definitely worth a look.
Shooting fans should pick up Resistance. It was the highest rated launch title for a reason. With Resistance 2 coming out next month, this is the time to get your history lesson in.
I can't end this post without mentioning Oblivion. This is value for money. A huge, and I mean huge, open world where you decide your own fate. It's from the guys who are bringing out Fallout 3 next week so you know you're going to have something special here. It will also kill your social life.
