Are there any decent IPhone games worth spending money on?

John, I have to admit it, I was holding off on answering this question so I'm sorry it's taken me a little while to answer it... but I was right.
Remember last week I spoke about the question of the century? Was Metal Gear coming to the 360. Hahahahaha.... well it's not!
The next Metal Gear image has been revealed to be Metal Gear Solid Touch for the IPhone/IPod Touch. So yes John, there will be some decent games coming to the IPhone.
Little is known about it except the action will be based on shooting. A website even suggested using the pinch touch to snap necks... might be a bit extreme though.
But if you're not a Metal Gear fan John then maybe you'll enjoy Silent Hill: The Escape which will be a FPS or maybe Frogger or even Dance Dance Revolution.
With a game based on Dexter coming as well I've got to say Apple has really put it into gear in the gaming department and it's got my attention now. In the past I have been a tightarse and downloaded the free apps only but I'll be definitely getting Dexter, Metal Gear and Silent Hill. Who knows what else is to come.
But it makes sense doesn't it. The IPhone/IPod Touch is the easier portable machine to carry around and if developers can create worthwhile titles for it then it would be a definite contender for king of the handhelds. The DS might have a huge lead but there is probably a lot more people who have an Ipod of some kind. It's only a matter of time before they go IPod Touch or IPhone and then it's just a matter of downloading a game directly to their phone.
