What should Wii get?

Dr Game,
I want to get my kid a new Wii game for Christmas but not sure what to get. I bought him Carnival Games and he got bored with it after a day. What should I get?

It's hard to give you an answer Ant. The Wii doesn't exactly offer a variety of games. But here are a few I can recommend.
Wario Land: Shake It could give your kid Carpal Tunnel with all the shaking of the Wii-mote... but it will be worth it. It's a cartoony 2D platformer that sees you as Wario wandering Mario type levels collecting bags of money and using the Wii-mote to throw objects at your enemies. It's a simple premise but your kid should get a blast out of it.
Batman is huge thanks to The Dark Knight and the LEGO series is massive thanks to Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Combine this dynamic duo together and you get LEGO Batman where not only do you control the legendary superhero but all his favourite arch-nemesis like The Joker, Penguin, Two-Face and The Riddler.
It may be pricey but Guitar Hero World Tour could turn your family into the Partridge Family... well without the sex and drugs. There's a microphone for Mum, a guitar for you and a drum kit for your son. Together you can rock out to songs by Blink 182 or Jimi Hendrix or create your own tracks.
Finally there's Shaun White Snowboarding which uses the Wii Fit Balance Board. The Balance Board turns into a snowboard allowing you to get the feel of cruising down the mountain at wicked speeds without the risk of breaking your hip.
