Why so serious?

Dr Game,
I can't find The Dark Knight game anywhere do you know where I can get it from?
- Lance
Lance, we're all searching for a Dark Knight game but it doesn't look like one is coming.
EA was the publisher behind the title with the lads who brought us Destroy All Humans! developing it. It was supposed to hit shelves alongside the film, then we got told it would come out when the DVD was released but no one seems to know anything about it. We haven't even seen a screenshot.
The only reason we know anything is because Gary Oldman blabbed about it in an interview with G4 TV. He did some work with the team and mentioned how awesome the gliding looked in the game.
Analysts have said that the lack of a title cost EA at least $100 million in revenue and rightfully so. Think about it... the movie raked in a shitload of cash, imagine how much merchandise was sold. It would have been more with a game. This mistake probably wouldn't have happened if Activision were behind it. They can manage to send out unfinished games based on film licences like it was nothing.
So to answer your question Lance... IF The Dark Knight game ever sees the light of day then it's most likely to come out next month but if you ask me, and you have, I don't think it will. I think the project has been cancelled only because we have not seen anything at all about it and EA is not the type of publisher to keep a big project quiet. I would suggest Warner Bros start looking elsewhere for someone to develop a game on the next Batman movie. As for you and the other Batman fans out there... I hear Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is decent.
